A custom web application is a system designed for a specific process, roles, and company data — not an off-the-shelf product forced to fit through workarounds. Condictor runs the entire journey: from problem discovery and architecture, through working versions, to VPS deployment and agreed maintenance.
When you need this
- Off-the-shelf tools (spreadsheets, boxed SaaS, WordPress with plugins) no longer suffice and are starting to limit you.
- You have a process that no available product handles the way you need.
- Clients or your team need a dashboard, search, booking, billing, or data flow connected into one system.
- Code ownership and the ability to develop the product without vendor lock-in matter to you.
If you primarily need a content-focused business card or landing page, a website may be the better and cheaper direction. Not every problem needs an application.

An MVP or starter application costs approximately 15,000–35,000 PLN. A business application with integrations typically falls in the 35,000–90,000 PLN range, and an extended dedicated system — 90,000–250,000 PLN. Maintenance and further development after deployment are priced separately, usually 1,500–6,000 PLN monthly.
What does building an application look like?
- Discovery. We define the business goal, users, constraints, data, and success criteria.
- Scope and architecture. We break the solution into stages, name risks, and choose the smallest viable first scope.
- Iterative build. We show a working product regularly instead of deferring integration to the end.
- Verification. We test critical paths, permissions, behavior on real data, and failure scenarios.
- Production and growth. We deploy, enable monitoring, and agree on who owns ongoing maintenance.
Developer assistants Claude Code and Codex accelerate implementation and change review, but they don't make product decisions for the client and don't replace testing. We most often use Next.js, React, TypeScript, Python, and PostgreSQL; the stack is described in detail in our technology stack, and responsibilities at each stage — in our process.
What proves we build systems, not presentations?
Our portfolio includes products with search, booking, and sales, such as Znajdź Paragraf and Rowerzysta Podróżnik. Separately, we showcase our own analytics platform on TimescaleDB, clearly marked as a Condictor product, not a client engagement.
When is a custom application the wrong choice?
It's not worth building when a standard SaaS covers the process without costly workarounds, there's no product owner on the company side, or there's no data and time to validate assumptions. In those cases we recommend an off-the-shelf tool, a process cleanup stage, or a smaller MVP — even if it means a smaller project for us.

FAQ
How long does it take to build an application?
We typically plan a scoped MVP at 4–6 weeks. A different first version may take longer, especially if it requires many integrations, data migrations, or formal acceptance processes. We develop a full production system in stages.
Do I own the code?
We hand over the repository and code rights as defined in the agreement. We also specify dependency licenses and third-party services so the application can be developed with us, your own team, or another vendor.
What happens after deployment?
We can maintain, monitor, and develop the system within an agreed scope or hand it over to your team. The support model, backups, and response rules are defined before launch.
What determines the cost of an application?
Primarily the number of user flows, integrations, roles and permissions, data state, and security and scale requirements. Instead of guessing a price after a short call, we first define scope and stages.
Do I need a full system right away?
No. If the core assumption can be validated with a smaller scope, we start with an MVP. We build the full application once the value core and further development plan are clear.
